MIA i know...

lots has happened since my last post... for starters I actually got talked into rafting... i know... me in a raft on the snake river? it took some convincing but it happened... we also got a quick trip in to Jackson which was sweet!!! there's going to be a lot of jumping around on this post so bare with me... I'm trying to get it all in... oh yes... my comp has a virus so I'm borrowing my parents dinosaur... ahaha... lamis and tata and tia lecha surprised us with a visit... it was nice to have them here....at the end of august my dear friend melody was married to her long time friend shaun... it was a beautiful wedding full of love... her in laws are awesome...(theyre also the institute teachers right now) over labor day i went to bear lake with the fam... it wasn't too bad... we got the go raspberry picking... everything was great about it besides the bees... my mom got one stuck in her hair... i tried to kick it off but wasn't that successful... i also received the news that one of my dear friends died in her sleep....I'm still trying to process it... i tried to make it to her funeral but it didn't work out with work...ill see her again one day... i had dinner with my good friend Jose... i hadn't seen him since he moved back to Cali for the summer...we had dinner at chili's... he told me about his adventures of working at cheesecake factory and chili's... and taking on 15 credits at BYU... he's a busy boy!! thursday i went to institute.. and had a chuckle as the subject.. dating... we all know what an "expert"... Saturday night i went to the adult session of conference... each individual stake had their own meeting... Nam spoke about temples...after Nate invited a group of us up the canyon for a bond fire... we invited Alejandra from church... tanner was there too... Nate almost fell into the fire, luckily tanner caught him....Sunday morning my sweet chicken pearl got attack by a mink... he got her pretty good but we're hoping she recovers... dad's feeding her by hand and giving her water with a dropper... we also had regional conference this passed weekend which was amazing... sister beck told us we're doing better than we know... elder Holland talked about the miracle of the hole in the rock... it made me wish i was more like belle smith...and elder Packard was just funny and reminisced about his youth and laughed really hard at his own jokes which i loved... later we had dinner as a family... penas, alleys, lori and jake... i mostly had mom's home fries and some shrimp and fruit... brad came over... we played skipbo... then i went to a CES fireside at which the push for dating and marriage started up again... it had been quiet there for a bit... Elder Scott interviewed a newly wed couple... and he told us that going to a movie for a date was stupid... after that there were refreshments... chocolate fountain but the chocolate was too dark... then nam asked me to go to ward prayer(we played he said she said) with her so i did....Lisa bought a crochet flower head band from me... I'm trying to start a little side business selling little crocheted things here and there.... this week had been pretty sweet so far... besides Monday when brad and i had a misunderstanding... Tuesday i had lunch with the girls at thanksgiving point... mmm pumpkin bars, chicken pesto and fries with ranch... after that i went shopping with sachele for Thomas... i got to entertain Nixon... and yesterday... i just nannied(my new job i watch the Combs across the street on MWF to make sure they make it to the bus on time etc) and i ran to macey's to get some pumpkin to make some cookies... and today I'm just blogging about what i can remember since my last blog...
